Barkley (formerly Barkley Evergreen & Partners) is a Kansas City, Missouri based full service advertising agency best known for their work on Sonic Drive-In Restaurants.[1] Founded in 1964, they currently employ 325 people; 2008 capitalized billings were $485 million.[2] Barkley is the largest independent advertising agency in Kansas City, and the seventh largest independent advertising agency in the U.S.[3]

In March 2008, Barkley acquired Ripple Effects Interactive. The new venture was re-branded BarkleyREI.[4]
The agency's best-known campaign for Sonic Drive-In has been running for 6 years. It has been the recipient of numerous national awards and press recognition.[5][6]
Barkley has also been recognized for its leadership in cause marketing. Thirteen years ago, Barkley Public Relations launched Lee National Denim Day. For four years, the agency has conducted the annual "PR Week" / Barkley Cause Survey, which surveys consumers, corporations and non-profits about cause marketing trends [1]. Most recently, the agency launched a re-brand of the March of Dimes Adweek: Baby Talk, March of Dimes rebrands. Barkley's work for the March of Dimes received numerous awards, including honors in the Communication Arts Interactive Annual www.commarts.com.
